The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) is a non-profit, non-government, professional association of broadcasting organisations, formed in 1964 to facilitate the development of broadcasting in the Asia-Pacific region and to organise co-operative activities amongst its members. It currently has over 160 members in 55 countries and regions, reaching a potential audience of about 3 billion people.

The ABU provides a forum for promoting the collective interests of television and radio broadcasters, and encourages regional and international co-operation between broadcasters.

The Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia, as its name implies, was formed with the object of promoting the advancement of the profession of consulting engineering by associating together for consultation and cooperation those engineers whose work is of a purely consultative character, and of providing facilities for Governments, Public Bodies, Associations representing industry and trade, and others to confer with Consulting Engineers as a body and to ascertain their collective views.

Our Vision: By 2015, the Malaysian Construction Industry to be a world leader and among the best in te world.

Our Mission: Together we develop the Malaysian Construction Industry towards globalization.

Our Objectives: Develop our national construction industry as the major contributor to the national economy and be able to produce quality construction products; inline with value spent and responsive towards the nation’s needs.

Our Objectives: The main objective of the Federation of Malaysian Unit Trust Managers (FMUTM) is to enhance the professional standards and image of the unit trust industry.

• To improve the regulatory, fiscal and legal environment for unit
trusts;
• To formulate sound and ethical business practices to promote the
interest of the unit trust industry and provide investor protection;
• To provide information, assistance and other services to its Member;
and
• To promote public awareness of the benefits and risks of investing in
unit trusts.

The society was founded in 1967 with the aim of promoting the advancement of earth sciences in Malaysia and the Southeast Asian (S.E.A) region. Currently, it has a membership of more than 600 earth scientists worldwide of various disciplines and expertise.

The society is active in organizing conferences such as the GEOSEA, Annual Geological Conference (AGC) and Petroleum Geology Conference (PGC). We also organize technical talks, field trips and forums for our fellow members.

Our organization is the local chapter affiliate of an international body of Information Systems auditors known as the Information Systems Audit & Control Association (formerly known as the EDP Auditors Association) or ISACA. With a membership of over three hundred members locally, we are classified as a large sized chapter.

The ISACA Malaysia Chapter was established way back in November 1984. Our first President was none other than the Auditor General himself at that time, the honorable Tan Sri Ahmad Noordin bin Hj Zakaria.

Institut Bank-Bank Malaysia (IBBM)

Established in November 1977 as the professional and educational body for the banking and the financial services industry in Malaysia, Institut Bank-Bank Malaysia (IBBM) is the leader in providing industry-focused training programmes and certifications.

IBBM, established by the banking and financial services industry, is governed by a Council comprising representatives from Bank Negara Malaysia, the Association of Banks in Malaysia, Association of Finance Companies of Malaysia and the Malaysian Investment Banking Association (formerly the Association of Merchant Banks in Malaysia).

INFOFISH was originally launched in 1981 as a project of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. Since 1987, it is an Intergovernmental Organization providing marketing information and technical advisory services to the fishery industry of the Asia-Pacific region and beyond from its headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Fourteen countries are currently members of INFOFISH which are Bangladesh,Cambodia,India,Indonesia,Iran,DPR Korea, Malaysia, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines,Solomon Islands and Thailand.

Kiwanis offers an opportunity for personal involvement in the leadership and improvement of the community, the nation and the world. While community service is what Kiwanians are known for, their club offers much more. Meetings and projects provide fellowship - fellowship that is sincere and lasting.

Since its founding in 1915, Kiwanis has grown to about 9,000 clubs in 82 nations, with more than 500,000 members.

Koperasi Angkatan Tentera Malaysia Berhad (KATMB), atau ringkasnya Koperasi Tentera (KT) ditubuhkan pada November 1960, kegiatan awalnya terhad kepada pinjam-meminjam sahaja. Bagaimanapun sejajar dengan perubahan masa, fungsi Koperasi Tentera kemudiannya diperluaskan lagi untuk lebih memberi manfaat kepada anggota-anggotanya.

Tarikh 1 November 1975 merupakan detik permulaan ke arah yang lebih dinamik buat Koperasi Tentera. Daripada sebuah syarikat pinjam-meminjam, ia berkembang menjadi sebuah koperasi serbaguna seiring dengan agenda ekonomi negara. Pada tahun 1981, Koperasi Tentera bergiat aktif mempelbagaikan lagi kegiatannya di bidang perniagaan. Langkah ini akhirnya semakin kukuh dan mantap sehingga hari ini.
